So uh...
And I'm planning on building a computer...

Any (Non-Biased) Reason to not buy these parts? Suggested parts? etc? Am I forgetting anything?

Already have a Graphics card picked out, forgot to put it in the post, it's there now http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814202008Nope wrote:Ok, your case doesn't need to be the most expensive thing, really it shouldn't be...
Also if you're planning on gaming with this thing you are gonna need a graphics card. A good GPU is gonna be around 100-200 bucks, and you can go nVidia or AMD on those.
Processor: the one you have looks fine to me. Just don't get an AMD FX series ones, those were a flop. The A10 is a good choice.
That motherboard has 2 pci x16 slots, so you could crossfire/SLI graphics cards in the future, a feature most motherboards are missing.
Everything else looks goo just reduce the budget on the case down to somewhere around 40 or 50 bucks and spend that money on a graphics card. Maybe a radeon 7850 or an nVidia GTX 650ti/660/760 everything is at weird prices right now.
I would like to highlight a few words used in your post: Cost Efficient, and Cheap.Farseer wrote:I have consulted the oracle, and from the depths of the void have retrieved the optimum, most cost efficient build.

GPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814132010 (note, you need three of these to get good performance. they're cheap though so not much of an issue)

PSU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817438004
optical drive is fine.
You don't need to be a millionaire to get these parts, these are literally entry level components. Much cheaper than your original build, which couldn't run Starcraft Brood War, anyway.Solar112 wrote: I am a millionaire, thank you very much.
I don't like brussel sprouts. Looks like we're both out of luck.Solar112 wrote:I also don't like ASUS, and Intel.
